The Colony is the last house on the matara road before the pleasant market town of Tangalle set on a small rise directly overlook the indian ocean.

The house is a much converted and extended British period bungalow. it has been completely rstored and now resembles a typical Black and White' as built throughout Asia in the early 20th century.
